MuseAI is neither an ordinary AI chat tool nor writing software; it behaves more like a local interactive world that persists settings, characters, memories and relationships. Create a world book and character cards under world settings, then open a one-on-one conversation — the character responds according to their persona, speaking style, relationship with you and past memories. After each conversation or adventure you can have it write relationship changes, key events and interaction patterns back into the character's file, and the bonds page organises those per character into a relationship overview, a timeline, conversation traces and adventure traces. Works, settings and session data all stay on your local machine, with models called through your own API key. Worth noting: this repository is the application itself, not a DSH plugin — installing MuseAI into DeepSeek Harness uses the author's separate repository yejiming/dsh-museai-tavern, a DSH client plugin.
